On Chapter 11 in FFXIII

I just reached chapter 11 and i just found out that it is freaking hard as hell. Any tips on what i should do? I am currently in the Mah'habara Subterra right after the cutscene.

grind the wolf beast and the behemoth fighting each other until you max the characters to the certain point they max during that chapter.
