Does it get easier than the demo for PS3/360? I'm not sure what difficulty it was on, but whatever set difficulty it is on I get my ass handed to me.

I really want to get it for PS4, though. I'm just wondering if anyone thought it was hard (at least in the demo). Does it get any easier?

I'm a N00b to recent basketball games. The last one I played was on Dreamcast.

I just picked it up for PS4 and I've been playing it on the default difficulty (Pro) and I've lost every game that I've played. Like you, I haven't played a basketball game in some time; there are a lot of controls and techniques to get used to here. Definitely try the practice mode, as it will give you a good understanding of the controls and then keep playing; every game I play, I get better and one day I will win. Haha.

I didn't have any problems, i am 25-2 and i am playing pro. I played 2k12 quite a while ago. I am going to crank up the difficulty. It's not that hard. You need to know how to use your team and when to take your shots

go into practice mode when you get the full game, it'll teach you all the controls and moves, when you learn them the game becomes much easier for you

I just got it a few days ago and my first basketball game as well...it was pretty hard till I got used to the button release and learned its easier to set up plays and pass to get the basket instead of just running tp the basket every time

I'm gonna guess like the GS people playing it on the livestream, you can't shoot 3's, go into practice and learn when to release your shoot button.

Yeah, like, the demo I keep on playing over and over and I do get a littttle bit better everytime. I get real pissed when I consistently lose anything, yet at the same time I was compelled to try and beat the effing thing. It turned out I would finally beat it sometimes when I got to my angriest point. Lol, I went super saiyan on its ass.

I keep questioning myself whether I should spend the money on it. I probably would get my money's worth trying to beat a frickin game.

And yeah, everyone else is saying to practice. I've heard that. I probably should do that. I suck at memorizing specific moves. Whatever, I guess that's what a challenge is all about.

Yup and that shoot assist thing or help thing which tells you how well your timing and shot quality is/was helped me a lot, even putting the defensive playcalling thing to auto until you learn how to call for plays helps.
