That's what I've been saying on a lot of these trophy threads.

One game with trophies, so what? I guess your life must be pretty boring or really suck if you're waiting around, making a big stink about a little icon about 3kb in size beside your name.

we should be happy for that? Its about time sony added them. And the fact that they have failed to back anything dealing with the PS3 is starting to tick me off. The Ps3 is a great machine, but their lack of advertising, marketing, and game support is unacceptable. Theyre letting all their major exclusives move to the xbox 360. They could stop it if they truely felt them wanted to, but they just dont seem to care. I keep waiting for home, trophies, ingame xbm, and a slew of great games to come out. But ive been waiting for way too long. I dont know what is with sony this time, they did so great with the Ps2, they just seemed to have given up. There is only a certain amount of time people should wait for a company to release things like this. Apple remakes most of their ipod lines, and some macs every year. the Ps3 has been out almost 2 years and theres still a relatively huge lack of anything for it. Sadly sony used to be a great company that could support their products, seems Microsoft replaced them. (how pathetic is that?)

Replay value is when you have a good game. When you have things to unlock like new weapons, ect.

You wrack your brain trying to pass something in the hardest level for what? A yellow icon? Then what? Did you achive something? Not really, especially as far as "replay value" goes. It also does nothing but create problems through out the gamer community with their pointless, petty fights.

But now everyones gonna say "oh why dont you be happy that your getting updates at all" "you woulda had to pay extra for those things in the past" Most people that have already responded to this are just to big of fanboys to realise when SONY f**ks up.

I dont see any problems with achivements and trophies. If you dont like them then just ignore them and dont use them.

Who care if someone else rent or buy a game just to do the trophies. If this help the PS3 games sales then it will help all PS3 owner in the long run with games selling more. If i was the Heavenly Sword developers then i would add fun trophies to see if more people buy this game.

If they only have trophies to complete the game then that would be boring but i hope they bring out some interesting trophies like on the 360 achievement. After i completed crackdown i kept on playing the game just to do some of the fun acheivement like climb to the tallest building and jump off and others is to kill people in different ways. Trophies could be fun but it up to developers to make them fun.
