I recently picked up the game thinking it had online multiplayer, but nope. =/ Sucks doesn't it?

I agree, whatever happend to this series multiplayer? espcially now a days where almost every game as a multiplayer to it

I wasn't toobotheredabout multiplayer it's one of those games that doesn't really need it though it would have been nice to use the battle arena in A Crack in Time for a multiplayer mode.

It would of been completely tacked on like it was in the third game, that was the main why they decided against it this time.

A co-op and competitive multiplayer would have been awesome just like in R&C3 and Deadlocked (had no internet at the time though :cry: )

Deadlocked is still one of the greatest co-op games.

WTF is Gladiator? You mean Deadlocked? Deadlocked was lame compared to the other Ratchet games. Ratchet is first and foremost a single player game. The multiplayer in Up Your Arsel felt like an afterthought, although it was an interesting idea. The multiplayer in Deadlocked was just plain boring. If they expanded on UYA's multiplayer, then they might have something nice, but TBH, I only want them to focus on singleplayer. The Ratchet games have all been fantastic with great stories. I wouldn't want them to spend time on making multiplayer when it could be put towards making another epic story.

It would have been better because of it but most games use it now like Uncharted 2. It could have been a nice bonus.

Like I tell everyone ( :P ), I was first in the world on Ratchet and Clank 3 8) It was such an amazing online game and I absolutely loved it. Then the Ratchet games slowly got worse, and Tools of Destruction was alright at most - but every reviewer loved it. If you want Ratchet and Clank, go play those games.... absolutely amazinngg! Characters are even better, storys great and doesnt involve all this time stuff and the weapons were so much more balanced. Apart from the Flux Rifle which when upgraded is 1 hit kill.

If you had visited the Insominiac Museum, you would know that Insominiac had a lot of ideas that were cut due to funds/time constraints. I'd rather Insominiac focus on the SP because I doubt they could squeeze in a decent R&C online multiplayer experience.

I only played the demo but it was fun. Plan on getting the game soon.
