Hi frnds.. pls help me.. am going to buy a new console... but i dont know which one is best.. Am going to buy the console(ps3/xbx 360) mainly for the online gameplay... ie., am mad in the games like tennis,PES, WWE,Cricket etc., ie., am going to buy a console mainly for playing it online in these kind of games... (i know that xbox live is paid.. that doesnt matter 4 me)... so pls help me frnds... i wanna play these kind of games online... also in which online (psn/xbx live) the players are playing almost all the time...?(ie., i can play at any time.. ie., players will be available at most of the time)... also any ranking match competitions in tennis in either xbx/ps3? so which is THE BEST console for this kind? kindly help me.. pls consider only the online gameplay.... (and pls.. inspite of answering as a xbx/ps3 fan boy, pls answer me as a ONLINE fan boy)
if you dont mind paying 50+ per year, the xbox will be better for you. if you want to be able to play online for free, but a slightly downgraded service, get a ps3.

i'm not sure about tennis competitions, but keep in mind the move/kinect for tennis. if the move interests you more, you may want to go with ps3 instead.
Also keep in mind that your online gameplay is going to be based on the community that the game has following it. If you are the only person who buys a tennis game, then you will have no one to play with. If you have a million people buy a tennis game, then you will have a million people to play with. The online community per game can flux based on how popular the game is and how quickly people get tired of playing that perticular game. Not to mention that your online gameplay will be affected by things like time of day, days of the week, and so on and so forth. I have never had a problem with my Playstation online gameplay and I enjoy it alot, but my brother says he likes the Xbox online better than the Playstation's. I don't know why. I never asked him. He owns both, where I do not.
i don't think there's anyone who plays tennis games online regardless of the console you get. i think you'll be fine with xbox 360. do you have any friends that has 360 or ps3? it would probably be a lot better if u buy the console where lots of your friends play
The points u mentioned are very worth.. Thanks 4 ur reply,friend... have u played any games like tennis/wwe/fighting/boxing (ie., opposing any online players in singles.. ie., no co-op.. it must be a versus game)
Someone else said it but find out what your mates have and go with that. If you have 50/50 or not many real life mates online gaming then pick which has the games that appeal to you more.
The online is somewhat better on xbox although that is subjective really.
From what you say xbox would suit you more but again go with your real life mates you'll have more fun on whichever system when playing with mates imo
also am having xbx 360 core... (but never played anything online) ... once i got rrod, trying to fixing it myself with heatgun, i ve broken it.. ie., now am getting 0021 with 3 RED LIGHTS.. i heard that no way of fixing it..(ie., i ve short circuited something while heatgunning it..) so only i decided to buy a new console...
I think Xbox will be more suited for you if you intend to play just online games like COD Halo etc. If you don't mind paying the subscription fee of course.
