online problems wit cod4

so its been like 4 days now and i still cant get on cod4 online and its making me angry. it keeps saying downloading game settings but it just stays like that!!! what gives i know others have had this problem but does ne1 know how to make it go away i just want to play.

if not, redo your internet connection on the PS3

un plug your ethernet cable and turnoff your ps3 for a day or so

yes.. all my other games work just fine. I got in one nite and after that it hasnt worked again. Sucks ... guess i will play my other games.
