"After last year's E3 it was announced that the E3 of 2007 would be different, and it would be a lot smaller.Today it was revealed just how much smaller the new E3, or "E3 Media & Business Summit", would be. Only 30 companies are listed as attending the event. This is a lot smaller than last year's, which had about 400 companies.
The following companies will be at the revised E3: 1C Company, Activision, Akella, Atari, Atlus, Disney Interactive Studios, Capcom, Codemasters, Crave Entertainment, Eidos, Electronic Arts, Konami, LucasArts, Majesco, Microsoft, Midway, Namco Bandai Games, NCsoft, Nintendo, Sega, Sony Computer Entertainment, Sony Online Entertainment, Square Enix, Take-Two Interactive, THQ, Ubisoft, Vivendi Games, and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.
The E3 M&B Summit will include an exhibit hall in Barker Hanger in Santa Monica, and company-run demos in hotels nearby. The third-party press conferences will be held in a common location.
Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft are yet to make any announcements regarding the event. But expect them all to hold a big pre-E3 press conference."
