I bought it cos of the hype. I have owned all the GTA games and have never really liked them, yet I keep buying them.

How was heavenly sword over hyped? And i thought it was good, better than i expected. Then again that could just be me :P

Heavenly Sword was overhyped, they talked up the ability to switch stances, the emotional story line, the facial animations. The whole thing to be honest, it was going to be a system seller, but it ended up being a by-the-numbers beat 'em up.

Thanks for reminding me that Assassin's Creed was overhyped too. Uncharted had a lot less exposure and ended up being 10 times better.

oh rite lol, i agree about uncharted not getting enough exposure

You could also say that both the 360 and PS3 launch line ups were over hyped.

Aside from Motorstorm none of the Ps3 line up really lived up to it's billing

And, people criticise the Ps3 launch line up, but cast your minds back to when the 360 was launched, they also had a terrible line up. Both overhyped and not enough final product.

yeah i thought halo3 would be something but it wasnt, i thought they would make graphics like animations look but never got to that level still, i wonder when would we see games like that with veyr very deep textures and grainy faces. And thank God i didnt get caught in the HAZE hype.

Uncharted is way better and Turok was also somewhat hyped i guess, the only sick game in my collection
