Overwhelmed with games?

Is anyone else seemingly getting overwhelmed with games these days? I have so many gams and in the majority of them i've never thoroughly completed everything. Example Fallout 3, Oblivion, GTA4 etc....I completed the main story lines but neve get around to doing and completing 100% of the games. Reason being there is just so many games comming at such a fast rate that there is just not enought time to experience these games to the fullest.

I tend to try and beat the main story line and move on to the next game as quick as possible. Anyone else feel this way?

a little, but I'm beginning to get caught up.

Right now I'm not so much because I haven't bought a lot lately.

Aside from 2-3 games in my collection I've finished everything.

Even with the new releases I know I'm buying I think I still won't be overwhelmed.:P

So many good games to play and so many more comming out. Kind of seems impossible to experience all the content packed into these games.

Yea... i have 10 games and they are all exclusives (own a 360) but ive beaten everyone one of them (if they have a single player)... but who's to complain... i still remember everyone complaining about not having any games... we can't complain about having to many games :D

Yeah, I know what you're talking about:

• I got my pre-ordered copy of inFAMOUS on Day 1 (May 26)
• I picked-up my pre-ordered copy of Red Faction: Guerrilla on Day 1 (June 2)
• Last Thursday, I bought CellFactor: Psychokinetic Wars, Wolfenstein 3D and Trash Panic off of the PSN Store (great PSN games!)
• I'm picking up my pre-ordered copy of Prototype on Tuesday
• I'm picking up my pre-ordered copy of Ghostbusters: The Video Game on June 16
• I'm picking up my pre-ordered copy of Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood on June 30

It sure feels great to be a gamer in '09! :D

Don't really remembe that lol. Around that time last year I got kidnapped by World Of Warcraft. Didn't know much about the happenings of life outside WOW. :(

Also with so many games getting addons and other DLC it really takes time to thoroughly complete a game.

its easy to be overwhelmed by all the great games out there

ive found it best to just stick to a few and trade in for new ones when they come out

Well pretty much everything was releasing between Fall and Winter back then (Mototstorm:PR, Call of Duty: WAW, Bioshock, Fallout 3, Farcry 2, Resistance 2, Saint's Row 2, LittleBigPlanet, plus more that I can't remember) and there were threads all over these boards about it.

It was ridiculous.

And then there was this big game drought, which now brings us to the release of inFamous and many other titles soon.

Right now im juggling a bunch of heavy hitters. Fallout 3, Oblivion, Saints Row 2 and LBP. I'm also thinking about getting the DLC for oblivion and saints row 2 along with FF7 on psn. Sigh i need to clear out space for imfamous, ghos buster, ufc, fight night 4

That's one hell of a plate you've filled up.

I'm only gett Bayonetta, Uncharted 2 and Fallout 3 this year, but after Dynasty Warriors 6 Empires drops on the 23rd.

I have tons of games I have yet to finish and the list will grow cause there are tons more great games coming out ( Heavy Rain, GOW3, Bayonetta, Darksiders, Fallout 3 DLC, FF13, FF13 Versus, Katamari Forever, Demon's Souls, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and others that escape me at the moment.). Sigh, too many games so little time.

Definately true...too little time to play all those games. Hmm think im gonna have to cut back on my 8 hours of sleep a night to squeeze some more playing time in lol. Or cut down on the work hours....no wait that would mean less money and less games :)

I'm honestly still working on most the great titles that i have.. eg. RE5, R2, GTAIV, Metal Gear, actually pretty much all my games except for the sports ones.. TW, Madden, MLB.. With my schedule its hard to keep up, and theres more games coming out I want.. not enough time!!!! LOL
