I am thinking of buying a psvita. But I have some doubts How much will it cost? It will be worth it? Games that will run? Rumor that GTA 4 will run on psvita? Supports umd?
The Vita will cost $250 in North America I'd say it's worth it, you get a beautiful OLED screen, two touch pads, motion sensors, two analog sticks, there really isn't much more to put into a mobile game console. It really depends what you like. In terms of popular games, at launch, there will be Uncharted, Wipeout should be ready by then, Katamari, a bunch of Japanese RPGs. Later on there will be an Assassin's Creed game, a Call of Duty title, Kojima is onboard for something(it's some sort of secret), Atlus is porting Persona 4 for the Vita as well. Plenty of developers are onboard, so with time there will be plenty. There is a launch game list for Japan, which includes many JRPGs, but the NA launch titles will likely be more varied. I'd say that's a pretty viable rumour. Sony's made it clear that the Vita should get releases alongside PS3 releases, since PS3 porting is totally possible and actually quite easy(compared to the PSP). No, it doesn't support UMD, but Sony is looking at a reduced price plan for UMD owners, so you may have that option. You can still keep your digitally-owned PSP games to play on the Vita. (all this info is based on NA information, so I apologize if your currency isn't in dollars)
