PAIN is probably the worst game ive ever played. It was so bad. Luckily i got it free with the PS3, but ive never played it since first time, and never will again. Even calling it a 'game' is actually a bold overstatement.
The other 2 have demos you should really just try that way. Im guessing there was no PAIN demo because really, the game is a demo, i cant see how they could give you a 'trial' of it because thats what it feels like.
I loved the PJE demo, but the actual games difficulty turned me off. Its wayyy too hard for what should be a relaxing ecleptic type game. If they ever released a patch to give it a lower difficulty (or even better just banish the timer) id def play it again.
I thought SSHD demo was crap. People like it, but I think thats just because it has trophy support (so do all 3 actually, but it was the first game to have it).
I would get Bionic Commando Rearmed over them all easily, or get a PS1 classic like jetmoto or crash bandicoot
