Hi,

After recently playing my copy of Suikoden on my PS3, I ejected the disc, but part of the disc was missing (it had been cracked before but had sort of been fixed.) Putting my PS3 on it's side to try too hear if it was definitely in there, confirmed that the piece of the disc was inside. Is there any easy way to get it out (preferably without dismantling it)?

Thanks

Try doing a hard eject, hold down the eject button for 20 secs.

The hard eject didn't work. Also, it wasn't really me, it was my brother, it's just that it's my PS3.

Regardless, don't put a cracked disk in your PS3. Even if it's just a small crack. The same thing almost happened to me.

Well if it's not under warranty anymore it is easy to open the PS3 and get to the disk drive. You'll also have to open the Disk drive too. As long as you remember what went where it should work fine after. I opened mine up to clean the laser and she works like new.
