I was wondering if someone here could give me some information. I'm sorry to admit that I still long for rumble on the ps3, i'm sick of waiting for dual shock 3 to be released in US (I know I have a lot of options to get one online, but do not want to wait a week to get it delivered). Anyway, I was on Bestbuy's website and saw a Pelican Afterglow controller for PS3, it's supposedly pretty new, coming out last month or something. In the description it said that it has rumble motors for full vibration. I'd MUCH rather just go to a bestbuy and pick one of these babies up (and get one today), but i'm not sure if the rumble on it is compatable with PS3, PS2 and PS1 games like dual shock 3 is. I've searched and searched the web but nowhere does anyone ellaborate on this controller's rumble feature, in fact the only site that even mentions it has it is bestbuy. Therein lies my question....does anyone know anything about this PS3 afterglow controller, and if it's vibration (that is if bestbuy is being honest about it), is compatable with everything like dual shock 3. I'm sure someone will know, and I thank you VERY MUCH in advance for the info.

I just hopped over to their site and there's no info other than it's lighted and wired.

8648216 is the SKU number. I just checked again and under product features it says: "Two rumble motors supply full vibration effect " Also, it is Afterglow Pro, not just afterglow...I should have mentioned that.

I'm getting one just cause they are cheap and I NEED a controller. Who cares if it's wired, it's half the price.

I don't care if it's wired, wireless is SEVERELY overated, i am in IT by profession,,, trust me. All i care about is that it supplies my PS3, 2 and 1 games with vibration just like dual shock 3 but without the wait....BUT DOES IT???

you have to remember if it's cheap rumble(not very well done) it can ruin your fun. I have a DS3 and it's great. the rumble is just right and it has different intensities for different situations. I had a cheap rumble controller for the GC and the rumble was so blatantly bad i never used it. and btw if you buy it off of ebay new and with a store you can get it quickly. I got mine within a few days. I know waiting sucks but if it's for a good product it's worth it. it's a judgement call but i would say get a DS3. Nothing beats the official hardware for a console.

Agreed. As bad as I want a DS3 I'm still waiting for official US release just in case there are any changes made.

I know DS3 is better, that's a given. I am by no means cheap when it comes to my gaming, I was willing to pay up to 150.00 just to get it next day, but I couldn't find it next day anywhere (for any price). If DS3 was readily available this wouldn't even be an issue, it's not about me wanting to pay less it's about getting rumble TODAY.

There are ebay retailers that ship from within the US.
