People complaining about GT5

Here I will combat people who whined about GT5 and why it isn't bad.

1. It is "slow"

-The Gran Turismo interface has always been a little slugsih. I guess your not used to it

2. The shadows and engine sounds are off

- Is it that "BIG" of a deal? So it is a little off; get over it.

3. Plays to much like GT3

- Driving doesn't change in 6 years. This is simulation driving. This is not Tokyo Drift...

4. Not worth the hype.

- Then doen't buy it. Do the research

5. I just don't like it

-Then simulation driving is probably not for you

But it is annoying how people are constantly posting how bad it is or dissapointing and I think people need to see it. Nobody reads my blog. So why should I do that huh?

Why in the world would it bother you what other people think of a video game? Did you give birth to it or something? Not everyone is going to think that it's the greatest thing on earth, just like not everyone thinks that ANY game is the greatest thing on earth. There are plenty of valid criticisms that can be made of it and if it bothers you to hear them, start up your own forum for fanboys only.

i agree with every point there. if you don't like a game stop playing it and sell it, don't sit on a forum and complain about it. it's not gonna change just because people whine

Honestly, your rant leads to no discussion. It's blog material. Do you honestly care what other people think about the game? I know that I don't. While they are complaining about the game, I am spending my time playing and enjoying it.

Simulation racing is a niche genre, it's not for most gamers but they don't know any better than the fact that it's extremely popular so they base their purchase based on that.

I actually am. :P I just took a 2 minute break to look on the forums.

GT has never been about looks, it's been about feel. A friend and I surmise that part of the problem in viewing this version of the game might be in the fact that a lot of the "younger" set, and those new to the PS brand, may not be familiar with this game's pedigree, and why players like us prefer it over other racing games. It's no one's fault that they don't like it. They're just not of the mind. It happens. I'm tired of people who expect the Second Coming because it took six years. Is the online solid? Can I race with my friends? Is there Cote de Azur? Is there 'Seca? Can you race 24 hours at The Ring? Can you drive Kart and NASCAR? And are they they spitting image of what it FEELS like to drive all of those?

OK, then... we're done here. But people are going to hate. Get used to it. I got jumped in another thread for telling people to stop whining like Scottish Hairdressers, but they wouldn't hear it, and called the mods on me.
