People who have actually PLAYED Lair, please read

I want the opinion of someone who has actually played Lair! Now, this game gets a wrap as one of the biggest let-downs in the PS3's short history, and I wanna know if that's true. Do the analog control make up for the game's other shortcomings? I mean... It's freakin fighting on dragons!!! How bad could it really be? Give me your opinions of the game, but only if you have actually played it

The control is terrible, I really wanted to like this game because I love dragons and stuff but the story and gameplay is just terrible.

I really like Lair. I thought the game was extremely fun and had NO problems with the motion controls. I beat it with the motion controls and then I started it again with the analog controls and beat it again. Much to my surprise, I liked the motion controls better. Buy it. Its probably pretty cheap now.

Game is bad..period! There's still allot of people in denial because of the potential this game had..it wasn't executed the correct way and it payed for it.gamer082009

Look for $13 I think you should give it a shot & determine whether the game is good or not. I try to base my purchases off of reviews but that's because I'm trying to justify a full price purchase. At $13, I think it's a great price for a fun game with difficult controls. It's not by far a cake walk mastering the controls but doable if you put some time & effort into the training mode. It was easier with the analog controls for me. For some reason, the sixaxis controls were non-responsive for my part. Half the time the dragon wouldn't go in the direction I wanted to. Could be interference within my building or I just plain suck. :P :D

I've seen it as low as $7 used. For that price, how could you possibly go wrong, even if you hate it. At least then you'll know for yourself and won't have to rely on the words of strangers. I am sure there are plenty of games that you like that everyone else hated. Okay maybe not plenty, but some...

It's pretty bad, not exclusively because of the controls though. There's bad design choices all around.
