Is Persona 4 available on PS3? Or any games like it?

Catherine is nothing like Persona though. Other JRPGs, like Atelier Rorona/Totori, come closer.Nope, but the closest to it would be Catherine as it's by the same developers. Although there's a P4 port to PS Vita.

He's not going to buy a PS2 for one game... Instead you should buy it for the myriad classics that are on the system that your PS3 can't play. A lot of its games and RPGs still hold up really well. Go buy one. You know you want to >_>A new PS2 is cheap tho. ^

Sometimes I wish I had a backward compatible PS3 as my PS2 was sold long ago. Artof_War
You sold your PS2? That sucks man, I'd never get rid of mine. But PS2s are pretty cheap now. Get yourself a PS2 with Persona 4 while you still can! It's one of the best JRPGs of all time. Everyone who owns a PS2 should play Persona 4.
Actually, it is around $25 now on amazon. But it was $40 not long ago, which is amazing.
Also, the guys over at the PSN blog mentioned there is a new batch of PS2 classics coming to PSN in the next few weeks, so if we are lucky it might just show up.
My goodness.... I didn't realize they were that cheap. How do they look on HDTVs? I need to investiage the current library of PS2 classics available.Actually, it is around $25 now on amazon. But it was $40 not long ago, which is amazing.

I can't say how the PS2 Classics offered over PSN look, but as for Persona 4 itself playing on a BC PS3 on an HDTV it doesn't look too bad. The in game graphics are a bit edgy, but what do you expect from a PS2 game that wasn't a graphics powerhouse to begin with? Overall its not bad though. The anime cutscenes and character portraits looks fairly sharp on an HDTV though. The game is definitely playable on an HDTV.Actually, it is around $25 now on amazon. Oh sorry, I meant the game is around $25. The PS2 is $99, used ones I would guess some $60.
I wish I still had my PS2, but buying one again for games I already played through isn't worth it. Like you, I also want to play Persona 4, so I've been keeping an eye on the PS2 and the PS2 section on PSN. At least we have some hope for a PS Vita release of Persona 4 *fingers crossed*

the imersion in the game, the story, the design and the action battle keep you in the game for the last moment
plus there is many endings and a secret chanlenge on the end of the game.
unfortunatly i know that there is a personna 4 only for ps2

No need to cross your fingers. Atlus USA has localizes almost every single Atlus developed game so there's like a 99.99% chance they'll localize P4 for the Vita, especially considering most of the dialogue is already done in English. The only things they'll need to do is work on the new content which should be fairly easy for them.[QUOTE="androflash"][QUOTE="Artof_War"] My goodness.... I didn't realize they were that cheap.
