Persona 5 (PSVita)

Will persona 5 be on Vita? P4G is successful on the Vita right now, so i really hope it would be on Vita too.

No plans for it right now, and TBH I just don't see it happening. Unlike the PSP it's not like the system is widely popular enough to warrant a late port.

I think it all depends on how well the game can be ported.

P4 is a really old game, so taking a game that was made in 2008 and releasing it again isn't that hard on the system.

I don't think time is a factor, I think it only matters how well they can downgrade the game to the Vita.

No, other than having to downgrade the visuals, it's not like anyone owns a Vita and not a PS3 or PS4 so if you want the game you'll just get it on either of those.

Maybe they'll do a port a few years down the line on the next handheld Sony make (if they actually do one).

I was hoping it would release on the Vita as well since I've only experienced Persona on a handheld (P3P and P4G). But maybe it's for the best I just play it on console this time around. It may end up being too much for the Vita to handle anyway, as someone mentioned before. But it would still be nice to see it get its own unique release at some point.

I just don't see it being a possibility. This is originally a PS3 so it might be able to run on a Vita but that market is really dead. I also like my Persona experience on a handheld so thankfully there's remote play.

It's possible maybe a year or two after the console release. Japan loves them handhelds after all. If not on the Vita then it's successor if Sony makes one. But it'll definitely release on a handheld.

It would be nice as I do a lot of my gaming on the go and a long game like that is easier for me to tackle on handheld or my laptop. No doubt I'll end up playing this on my PS3 or PS4 if I have one by then though. Can't see it happening quickly if they do port to Vita and I'll want it day 1..

I guess the chances are actually better for the Switch. If the Switch becomes Japans new hot handheld, it will replace the Vita in JRPGs.

@tempura13: they could put a part of the game as a download like they did for Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD or for World Of Final Fantasy
