Persuade me to get a Playstation 3.

I loved the PSX, and the PS2. I am uncertain with the PS3. I had a bought an Xbox late in the systems life, and found that I liked some of the features a little better than the PS2, however I believe the PS2 was all around a better system with better games. Currently I own an Xbox 360 and Wii, and I don't know what my major motivation for getting a PS3 should be. I'm thinking a PS3 Twisted Metal, and especially the Final Fantasy games, are all but an essential reason to get a PS3, yet I don't think that the PS3 can really offer me more than some as of yet, superior offerings made by the 360, and the classic Nintendo games on Wii. (Which I don't feel directly compete with the powerhouse cutting edge based technology systems)

So tell me, is their anything the PS3 can do that the 360 can't? I was just reading an article about Oblivion, and the shader upgrades in the PS3 version will be given to 360 owners in a free upgrade, and that the PS3's limited RAM and Video memory limit some of the content that will be included in the game, meaning the older 360 version will be upgraded, and be a graphically and content wise better game. I am certain that I want a PS3 eventually, but I need to be strongly persuaded. I want to hear from you guys that have had great experiences with the PS3, or even people that have the 360 and PS3.

ps2 started bad and ended best

ps3 started bad and will end off best when great games start to come out (motostorm, Lair, Heavenly storm, MGS4, Killzone2, final fantasy, rachet and clank, god of war 3)

Great multimedia maching got 20 movies on ps3 hard drive and lot sof soccer videos, pics, music, great internet browser, bluray movies, great system, 10/10

if you need to be pursuaded then dont get one, you bought a 360 what pursuaded you to get that, this is so sad how people cant make there own decision i say if you want it get it you live once might as well enjoy it, if you dont then dont...just grow up and make a decisionKurupSoldr

I make my own choices. Please don't troll my posts, I am asking you why you like the PS3, not for you to come complain, as I probably wouldn't make a decision based off a forum thread, I just wanted to hear some new perspectives.

Yea, the only reason im interested now, is that Lair looks really interesting. I am just disappointed with the small amount of "must-have" titles on the PS3. 360 has a brighter future IMO (BIOSHOCK!!), but I still want a PS3.BrotherGamer

Do we look like Sony employees appointed to sell systems? Why are we suppose to persuade you? either you want one or you dont. You buy a console because of the games.Krigon
