PES Vs FIFA, neither are up to the job

So I've took the plunge and bought PES to see how it plays because I'm not happy with FIFA 10, buggy single player modes, computer AI has no balance, the goalkeeper AI s absolutely awful and online games just descend into everybody being Barcelona then using pace and the forward runs to expose the many holes in the defence AI. Could have been great but I just don't think it plays as fairly online as 09.

As for PES, the foundations of the game are aged and it's got problems, the computer AI is much better than FIFA and more fun to play against but playing it is a quite unresponsive and slow. I could forgive it for that but the online is awful, there's atleast a second of lag in everything you try to do rendering it pointless but if there's one thing that I find unforgivable it's Konami's sheer lazyness in releasing a game in late October and having old squadlists, numerous errors in which club a player is playing for, these transfers happened in August and they couldn't keep it up to date 2 months on? I think it's pathetic and evidence of Konami's half assed effort with its PES releases this gen.

My conclusion is that I'm not satisfied with either and I'm lacking a good all round football simulation this year with both efforts proving to have numerous flaws in different areas.

I have grown tired of football games since 2006.

Reviews say FIFA this year but PES is still solid.

I only played Fifa 10 for 2 days on the PS3 due to the YLOD, seemed decent I'm not buying it again though it was the same as 09 to be honest.xDB9x

But with a lot more bugs!
