Pick any PS3 game, and explain why MGS4 is better in comparison

Hooray another MGS4 appreciation thread :D Honestly the game never gets old, unlike Snake that is. lol I made a joke. Anyway the point of this thread is to name a certain other game on the PS3's MASSIVE catalogue and explain why MGS4 is better then that game. MGS4 certainly is the BEST title on the PS3 even if you don't know it.

Game(victim): inFAMOUS.

Now inFAMOUS is a great game and the lightning powers are great fun but Snake's stun knife pwn Cole's Lightning. It's so cool, on one end you have a knife for slashing and on the other end you can send a small electric shock to the guards. Seriously that knife easily beats out Cole's lightning.

So you get the idea? Now tell me why MGS4 beats other specific games. Remember name the game you are comparing with MGS4.

mgs series is so overrated...theres more video cut scenes than gameplay....

im ok...waste of money not my type of game...i will stick with fallout, oblivion

Snake has a nice ass.

Its just great game balanced with action, comedy & drama. Dont forget MGS4 is supported by numerous previous MGs titles.

i respect mgs a a series...but in my opinion no game deserves a 10 out of 10 not even mgs4......

I'm pretty sure MGS4 doesn't have terrible baseball gameplay in it. MGS4 is therefore a tad better than MLB 2K9.

I did read the post, but I still like other games on the PS3 more than MGS4. I don't even care for the MGS series and MGS4 honestyl, but I only assume it's better than MLB 2K9

I did read the post, but I still like other games on the PS3 more than MGS4. I don't even care for the MGS series and MGS4 honestyl, but I only assume it's better than MLB 2K9

oh dude totally theres no way uncharted is better than MGS4....sure drake can climb and shoot any gun and get the women and kill monsters and all that...but can he crawl on the ground? no. can he look old when hes not supposed to? no. can he operate a metal gear and kick his twin brother, whos arm is attatched to a reallly old guys body who knows his father who hes really a clone of yet then finds out hes not but sort of still is', ass? hell no!

MGS4 is better than Stormrise, because at least some reviewers said it was.

No one is wrong. Everyone is entitled to their own bloody opinions. I for one, think MGS4 is decent. Not even close to being the best game in my collection but easily not the worst (I have lair so..). MGS is really overrated and I don't deny that they are good, just get too much credit. I actually like how it has so many long cutscenes but there are better games out there.

Five reasons why Metal Gear Solid 4 is Better than Killzone 2:

- MGS4 has roughly 2,000 more weappons.

- Snake can knock on walls when he's behind cover.

- Snakes team mates aren't so annoying that you frequently shoot them in the head and smile as they fall to the ground and roll around in pain.

- Snake doesn't NEED team mates.

- Bipedal war machines that 'moo' like a cow.

I really didnt think mgs4 was the best in the series, but ah well to each of their own i guess ;)

MGS4 is better than resistance 2. MGS4 has better graphics and a hell of a better story. although i didnt like MGO all that much :/
