hey, sorry if this is up somewhere already but i couldnt find it. Recently I've noticed when i use my ps3 theres dark lines going up the screen, kinda like when you would tape a vcr tape that was protected. Does anyone know how i can fix it or is it prob just my tv?

Hey chapel 18 i just solved that problem with my new PS 3 in one night.Allyoou have to do is buy a grounding adapter, then plug your ps3 power cord into the adaptor. plug the grounding adapter into a wall socket and then turn the ps3 on. When your finish dont forget to let me know how you made out I have no more lines at all. :D

I also heard if you unplug the cable cord at the back of your TV it will work. I have component cables and get the same faded lines in the background. I just ignore them. It is some sort of interference. I bet if I used HDMI it would solve the problem too.

putting a 3 prong to 2 prong adapter works. the third prong ground it i beileve and it cross grounds with the tv and thats why there are the lines...it's somthing like that...either way if you plug it into a different outlet or use the adapter it goes away.

thanks for the help...Chapel18 on psn if you wanna play sometime
