Don't be so doubtful. Technology gets cheaper all the time. Maybe Blu-Ray won't be cheap enough in 2010 but I can imagine myself inserting 16-layer BD in my PS3 or PS4 in 2012.

M$ has already openly stated that they "may" pick up BluRay - I would say that unless they are involved in the mentioned 1TB disc from the article that they will be paying SONY some royalties and have a BluRay drive before long. Just speculation though.DataDream
