As an owner of both games, SSHD is the better choice. If you do decide to go with stardust, make sure to also get the solo add on. Adds a whole lot to an already stellar PSN game.
I have and enjoy both. But I'd give up eden over Stardust in a minute. Stardust is just more fun, has better trophies, has in game music, has two expansions and massive replay value.
I have both and enjoy both. However they are so different. Eden in my opinion will take longer to complete. I like stardust a little better just because shooting stuff was more enjoyable. But the music in Eden is so much better, though you can use custom soundtracks in SSHD
I have both of them and there both pretty good. I would say SSHD though cause its got more action and its HD obviously. Pixeljunk is ok just not as good as SSHD.
I have both games. Although I have been addicted to both games for a short period of time I can say SSHD has me comming back for more (especially since now there is trophy support). The audio is great, the visuals are awesome and the gameplay literally gets your heart pumping. There is also custom soundtrack support in this game which is an awesome feature. Get SSHD but if you can scrounge up another $10 PixelJunk Eden or even PixelJunk monsters are two other good choices.

I like Eden, personally. But maybe it's just because I've played a million games that are exactly like SSHD and only a few that were like Eden. I find Eden to be more relaxing too... I just find myself going back to it more. But both are really good games.
