I'm planning to buy the 80gb ps3 MGS4 pack and i just have few questions.

PS3/game Questions:

MGS4 ps3 pack worth it for $500(USD)?

what are the pros and cons of that pack?

I heard if u want to see the full graphic performance of ps3 you need to have "this" cable and your tv has to be HD or something like that.

is online play free?

what do you need inorder to play online? does it come with the ps3?

in GTA4 online play, how does multiplayer work? I mean like the map is reallly big and how do u play with others?

is there mic for ps3 online play? do i have to buy it seperately?

what are the pros and cons of that pack? You get MGS4, a dualshock 3 controller, 80gigs of storage, backward compatibility for ps1 and ps2 games, blu-ray. The only con I can think of is that you pay $100 more than the 40gig, but you get more for your money.

I heard if u want to see the full graphic performance of ps3 you need to have "this" cable and your tv has to be HD or something like that. The cable you refer to is HDMI, which is not necessary for full HD. You can use component cables which are cheaper. Your TV, however, should be at least 720p.

is online play free? Yes

what do you need inorder to play online? does it come with the ps3? Everything you need comes with the PS3. You must have a broadband connection.

in GTA4 online play, how does multiplayer work? I mean like the map is reallly big and how do u play with others?

is there mic for ps3 online play? do i have to buy it seperately? Yes, mics are sold seperately. If you have a bluetooth headset for your phone, it will work with the PS3

1. yeah, its worth it.

2. no cons i think...best ps3 with best game.

3. if u want full graphic u need an HDTV with HDMI...i have a SDTV and i like it a lot!

4. yep, online play is free.

5. to play online u need an internet connection (fast enough), the ps3 already cmes with the ethernet cable.

6. no idea...never played GTA4.

7. yes, any bluetooth headset works on the ps3. u have to buy it seperatly.

8. MGS4: 10/10 best game! devil my cry 4: dont know GTA4: dont know Battlefield BC: 8.5/10 awesome online.

in GTA4 online play, how does multiplayer work? I mean like the map is reallly big and how do u play with others? There are many different modes for online play in GTA4. I will not go in to them. But basically all you do is use your cell phone in game and pick it as an option. It's very easy.

is there mic for ps3 online play? do i have to buy it seperately? Yes and yes. Any bluetooth will do. But best to get some reviews first. Because some just seem to be better then others. Note: the price dosn't mean it's good or bad. So do a little homework.

for Battlefield bad company u can try the online demo...not sure u can still play it online cuz the game is alreary out...but u can try it offline...

I'll answer the last question as the others have been answered already...

MGS4: 10/10, Battlefield BC: 8/10 specially online, DMC4 aand GTAIV are somewhat on the same level. They're both good, but a little repetitive

Actually, all HDMI does is combine your video and audio into one cable digitally. You can use component cables (Y, Pb, Pr) to get full HD video quality. The real difference is digital (HDMI) vs. analog (component). I use component video with an optical audio cable, and it looks/sounds just as good as any HDMI set up I've seen/used. Now, if you don't have an HDTV, you will be missing out.

The MGS4 bundle give you a dual shock controller and MGS4 and it gives you the best version of the PS3. There are no cons. You do need to buy the mic seperatly like the PS EYE. To play games on a HD tv you need to have a HDMI cable and a HD TV. Online is free and everything you need comes with the PS3.

MGS4 (10), GTA4 (9), Devil May Cry (8), Battlefield sucks in my because of all the glitches and its made by EA.

what do you need inorder to play online? does it come with the ps3? It comes with an ethernet cable for wired play, then it's wireless, too. Just make sure you have a router and wireless broadband for online play.

in GTA4 online play, how does multiplayer work? I mean like the map is reallly big and how do u play with others? It works beautifully. Seriously, some of the most crazy fun I've had online. You and 15 other people (16 total) can play the gameplay modes throughout all of Liberty City, but usually that's too big, so you can section it off, too.

is there mic for ps3 online play? do i have to buy it seperately? Yes, you'll have to buy it seperately. I recommend waiting for the Socom Confrontation Bundle, which will include an official Playstation bluetooth headset.
