Serious question, so don't flame.

Don't you guy/gals think it'd be nice if Sony would provide free demos for the mini games they sell in the Playstation online store? How are you suppose to know if the game is good? All the xbox live arcade titles have trials you can play before purchasing.

And how come the free demos they do offer for store bought games take like 5 minutes to intall,? The same demos can be launched imediately after you download them from Xbox Live on a 360?

Again, this isn't a who's better thread, just trying to think of ways to improves the PS3 experience.

I have almost every game. For the prices on the store, every game but pixeljunk racers and nucleus are worth it. If the game looks really cool, just buy it, it's usually ten bucks.

I've been having a problem to get online! It's the DNS error. The problem for me , i think, is having dial-up. I got the ethernet cable and I did everything. It just shows the message about the DNS error.

Sure the games are cheap, but I still think they should offer free trials.

Yeah it's no big deal, but small things like that goes a long way.

Sadly dial-up isn't supported with game consoles. You may want to check into a highspeed service in your area. I have DSL and it cost about 4 or 5 bucks more than dial-up per month.

As for demos for the mini games on PSN it really isn't a big deal to pay the very very small fee for a game if you think you would like it.

PAIN doesn't need a demo.... I have put more hours in on this $10 game that most of the $60 games I've purchased. Find a few friends, play some 4-player horse and have a good time. Peace.

First of all, stop saying 'You can do this on the 360, not on PS3' because it belongs in System Wars, and I don't care what you can do on it.

Second, the games are cheap, so most people probably wouldn't worry about the value. There are reviews you can check on the internet if you're considering buying a game.

It does matter what one can do on other platforms in order to improve the PS3, so stop acting like an Ostriche.

It really isn't my intention to start a so called "War", I REALLY do want to know why it takes 5 minutes to install a demo, cause I think that's something the developers should definitely work on. Small things like that do add up and will impact the PS3 expierience Sony is trying to provide. This is a educated discussion, please don't try to turn it into something else.

I agreethey need demos for everything. Because I mean some of the games I want to buy, I won't because I haven't tried them out. Actually is it wasn't for teh demos on LIVE Arcade, I wouldn't have discovered a lot of games I like now. Where is the love Sony?
