Platinum Trophies, r they worth it??

what happens when u get a platinum trophy? is there some kind of huge celebratory cut scene, or do u just get a 2d image of a platinum trophy icon for a few secs and thats it?

i mean, the trouble some people go to get a platinum is ridiculous,...look at this quote from another forum about a guys who neeeded , just plan neeeeeeeeeded the platinum so bad

It may be "trouble" for you, but for someone else, it's a challenge, a hurdle; A.K.A. fun.

Depends. Some people like trophies and others don't. I feel like I've completed everything the game has to offer when I get a platinum trophy so that's why I usually go for them.

Like others, I like getting them because they make me feel like I have done everything there is to do in the games that I would play normally. I do not think that playing easy but bad games to get them (Terminator Salvation, Hannah Montana) is worth it though.

The point of it is you feel good after getting one instead of a bronze i mean i got a bronze for pressing pause in Matt Hazzard the only game you should not be proud of getting a Platinum is Terminator Salvation

sorry,i should have been more specific...i mean for someone to buy 2 extra controllers and pay money, just so he can get a trophy that says u played split screen with 3 other people (imaginary friends who are not there)....is this consistent with 'getting the most out of a game"?
