I don't remember exactly how many chapters there are...but I do know it took me 41 hours to complete it my first time. It was amazing. Also, the reason you might not be able to find it easily is because they stopped printing the game a while ago and it's becoming more and more rare. So pick up a copy as soon as possible. :)

whyy did they stop making it if its such a good game?
I'm not 100% sure why they stopped printing it...but, I do know that it does have something to do with the very low sales it has. Also, just so you know they are making DLC for the game. Already there are 3 DLC released and a fourth DLC has also been announced. So the support for the game is quite good.

low sales, the game kinda flew under the radar. Mainly because it's a JRPG.
I'm not 100% sure why they stopped printing it...but, I do know that it does have something to do with the very low sales it has. Also, just so you know they are making DLC for the game. First playthrough took around 30 hours. Awesome game. It has a nice feel-good, quiet story at the beginning. Towards the end it becomes much more dramatic. Overall one of the best games for the PS3.

Maybe I'm slow, but my first playthrough took 60 hours. Keep in mind that I did a lot of skirmishes, played all of the optional missions, and read basically all the information in the game. The playtime also doesn't really count any of your reloading of missions and etc. I paused a lot too.
the first play through will take about 30 hours unless you do a lot of skirmish battles then it will take more. I played each skirmish map at least once and a couple of them 2 or 3 times. i think I logged in at about 34 hours. that doesn't include the times I died and had to start over.
