Anyone catch the update on Sony's blog? Prizes, giveaways, etc.

Well, that's just the grand opening. The social club event will be going on every day until about a week after the Vita launches. There may not be prizes and giveaways every single day lol, but you'll still be able to play the Vita for an extended period of time and grab some snacks.

I'm an hours drive from Chicago.

A couple of friends of mine are and i are gonna go to the event there and check it out.

should be fun.

maybe i will make it, though. anyone know where stanton st. is? i won't have a car when i'm there so it may be fun getting there. lol.

Lol@wicker park. It takes me a matter of minutes to get there. I might go if there's a chance of winning a vita, of sorts. It might be worth the tshirt--of course I'll bring my 3DS to kill time in the line.

Food at such events usually equals junk. It depends on what the perks are. The low sales are disrupting my purchasing decision. I keep going back and fourth. Sony does generally get some stellar babes to seduce the potential buyer, though.
