The only time I went more than 24h straight playing a game was a long time ago, on my Genesis, playing Shadowrun (the cartridge wasn't saving the game, so I had to go from start to finish in one go).
Nowadays, with work and wife, well, not that much time for gaming anymore... longest run, non stop, on my PS3 was around 5 hours.
Somewhere around 5-6 hours playing Warhawk back in the day.
And 50 hours? I'm sorry, but you would have had some serious medical issues, possibly death. Don't ever attempt that, nothing good can come out of it, regardless of how epic the game is.
Like 8. Uncharted (1, 2) and MGS4 were the games that made me do it :P Those games were such time sucks because they don't have that "Ok I should stop now" times. They are so seemless. I assume that God Of War 3 will join that club also. :P
