Playing UFC yet?

I am at work until 9PM AZ time, but wifey confirmed UPS dropped off my copy. I cant wait to go home and get some black eyes! Anyone playing the full game yet? Are you impressed?

just popped the game in around 30 minutes ago. I am currently going through the tutorial and stuff since I didn't download the demo.

I can already tell that this game is going to have a pretty deep learning curve. This is something I was hoping for....

Yup, I got it earlier this morning. Just like the demo, I'm having a great time with the full game.

I think I played the demo longer than some full games .. got the controls down ..

Yeah, I think we are all on the same page. I will play career mode for a few days at least and see what the single player game has to offer. I agree with CR though that I have played the demo more than a couple of full games that I own and I feel pretty comfy with the controls. I will see you on PSN.

Oh I've got the controls down, I was more referring to my fighting style. I tend to be pretty aggressive and abandon my game plan, and there's certain fighters that really require a better game plan than simply rushing in and attacking.

Example: My crappy created fighter, Big Nasty, VS Rampage. I used an overly aggressive style to fight with him inside, and I got knocked the hell out. The next time I decided to pepper him a bit, keep my distance with leg kicks and jabs, and eventually KO him. That plan worked perfect for me.

I haven't really spent much time incorporating a good sub game into my arsenal, instead focusing on my striking, clinch, and takedown game. I'll give the subs a go later on, but, for now, it's more of a striking/wrestling approach for me.

What an awesome game this is.

See I'm using Boxing and Judo .. so I'm all about getting my opponent down, getting to mount and then pummeling them .. :lol:

Second fight in got a Rear Naked Choke in the first round ..

This game is so much fun, too bad the Red Wings game is on .. :(
