So I read that you can take a PS3 on an airplane trip, i'm going on a long 16+ hour one to Romania (In Canada now) so I have a few questions

1) When you get the PS3 scanned through X-Rays, does it mess up any internal hardware? If so, can I avoid this in any way?

2) I used a transformer for the PSP Charger (EU has different outlets), and I BELIEVE that my PSP Charger got fried because of it, currently not working. Is there a voltage setting I need to use? Has it been overjuicing it? And can anybody reccomend a good transformer also?

I would really like some tips on this, I don't want to lose a $400 gaming machine and my save files.

Thank you in advance!

I can't answer your second question, but the airport scanners will not harm your PS3 in any way. Just make sure that you put it in a carry on, so you can handle it yourself. At security, the agents will make you open your bag so they can check it, but that's it.

Cool, thanks. Currently worried about the adapter/transformer thing now. Probably going to check out London Drugs.

The system is fine going through the scanner, I have done it several times with mine. I don't know anything about the voltage thing you would need to buy. I would go to a local radio shack or best buy though and make sure to find someone who actually knows their stuff.
