Playstation 3 and Spiderman font the same?

I hope this question hasn't already been asked. I looked in the FAQ and didn't see it, so here goes.

There first time I saw the Playstation 3 I thought it was something to do with Spiderman because they appear to have the same font. Has anyone else noticed this?

Sony owns the Spiderman rights I believe, but yes that is correct. If you want to use this font I believe it is available at freefonts.com

THe font (or if you wish to talk like a graphic designer, the typeface) is called Homoarakhn. I don't know what that word means, but thats what you need to look for.

Here are some picture comparisons -

Homoarakhn: Homoarakhn.tiff PS3 Font: PS3.tiff Spiderman Font: SMTFont.tiff PS3 3: PS33.tiff Spiderman 3 (from website): SMW.tiff Spiderman 3 (from trailer): SMT.tiff

There are minor tweaks in each picture (i.e. L's, P's, 3's, etc.), but for the most part they are the same. BTW, sorry about not putting the pictures directly on the board. I wanted to, but Gamespot doesn't allow .tiff image files.
