There is a peripheral ive seen that plugs into the front usb slots, 2 i think, and blows air directly into the vent in the front. http://www.ec21.com/ec-market/ps3_cooling_fan.html Try here. Good luck.

Your shouldn't need any kind of external cooler. The PS3 has it's own built in fans. Also, it does heat up after a lot of use, but it's nothing to worry about unless it's unbearably hot. Try giving it a rest to cool it down if you're very concerned about it.

BTW they all get pretty hot, but its normal. Mine has no problems due to heat. Just make sure it has some room and remains dust free.

Ditto what he said. The best advice is to have at least 3-5 inches of room around the console and to vacuum the vents with a low powered vacuum cleaner every once in a while. It helps keep dust from building up.

I haven't turned my PS3 off in a few months now and it never overheats. As for those coolers there just a big mistake using them on the PS3. There have been test run with the console being used for x amount of hours in a sauna and then was put into a cold environment and ran about the amount of time with no problems of any kind.

Your PS3 blowing out hot air just means the exhaust cooling system is working. When your PS3 runs cold it is time to worry. ;)
