People told me that the ps3 is quiet and doesnt make any noise compared to the 360. Im playing some morning cod right now and the ps3 is constantly making a disc reading noise while playing single player non stop, compared to my 360 its worse

It depends on what game you're referring to, and certain games run differently.

My experience is that any game disc sometimes runs super quiet, sometimes runs loudly and anything in between. Plus the louder it runs the more it vibrates (the place where the blu-ray drive is). As its been doing this since day one i assume its normal. So i think it depends on how you put each disc in every time. I have 80 GB non BC and have had it for almost a year without any issues.
