I have the 60 GB PS3 I go to play games or watch a movie it shows the logo then when it go black to load the main menu on the games. It freezes is this a simple solution or what. I don't want to pay 150 for repairs for something simple please gve advice if have any ASAP. !!!!!!!!! :(knights1234Thats why you should get the newer models. They will not fail you (99% of the time)

TC, or anyone else that reads this, DO NOT listen to this advice. Taking apart your PS3 is NOT the thing to do. If your PS3 ever needs repairs, send it to Sony, and let them handle it. Trying to fix it yourself will only lead to more problems most likely...It might be an issue with your blu-ray drive. You might need to replace the blu-ray drive itself or you can dissmantle the ps3 and clean the blu-ray lens with a cotton bud and some lens cleaner liquid. Good luck. :)
