To answer you question: Last I heard home was still in beta. Some were saying late late 08 release or early 09 release. Sorry, I dont have a link to give nor do I really feel like digging one up. How about you google it, mmk?
They said that it is suppose to be coming out in November but something tells me we will be waiting again.Thank god I am not excited about this.I use to be but after the delays and hold ups I could care less.When it comes it comes.

Sony said it will be released before the end of 2008.

Yeah somebody bumped this. But back on topic, I used to be really excited for Home to come, then I realized I was wasting my time waiting for it because it was never coming out, so now I don't really care about it.
I just searched this forum post title and got this, I thought I'd just ask a question on this rather than create my own forum post.

Ahh don't worry about it.To answer your question though nobody really knows when home will come out.It is one of those'time will tell'things.In other words we will have it when we have it.Now pull out your shotgun and shoot those zombies!lol.
Also, we need to wait and see. DO not believe in ANY release date you may see. Only if Sony says, it's out tomorrow and it must be posted in the PSBlog!
I'm sure this is old but here's a statement I got in an email last week:
As an update to the PLAYSTATION(R)3 News email sent on Friday, October 24th, the special invitation to PlayStation(R)Home's closed beta is available only to Qore annual subscribers who purchased subscriptions by 10/29. Qore Episode 06 purchasers will not be eligible for the special PlayStation(R)Home beta invitation at this time. We apologize for the miscommunication.
Participation in PlayStation(R)Home's closed beta is limited to those 18 years and older and requires agreement with the PlayStation(R)Home Beta Trial.
