Well I have had my system since launch and currently own two games for it. I gave the Motorstorm demo a chance and it wasn't my cup of tea. I have alot of the games on 360 that are now on PS3, and from what I have read there are no startling differences that would warrant a double purchase. Everytime I turn the system on I pray there is something worthwhile in the PS Store and I am mostly left empty handed, although I have enjoyed watching the Transformers trailer and occasionally getting my GT on. NG Sigma just felt like been there done that from what the demo offered, but this is obviously because I played NG on XBOX. I am hyped on the future but am left disappointed by what I have been given up till this point. At this point in the 360 cycle GRAW and Oblivion had been launched and these games were fresh and new. PS3 is lacking big time on the fresh and new. Heavenly Sword will rule, MGS4 will rule and GTA 4 will rule. I am more comfortable playing GTA 4 on the PS3 since it seems the game was mostly built on the PS3 hardware, but I could be completely wrong on that one. I think the online right now is definitely not what it could be for PS3 but its obvious Sony is looking for a grand slam with Home. I hope it delivers. My grade for PS3 is a C-. I hope Sony can finally put it together this summer and make me have to really decide, "Am I PS3'n it tonight or going 360?" Right now there is no real decision. So what's your grade? late.

Hardware = A+ Its got just about everything I could ask for as a media center. Looks sexy and feels sturdy.

Software = D+ I just dont think Sony was ready to launch the PS3 on the software side. They were still focused on milking the Ps2 and got caught with their pants down. Hopefully they can recover from the slow start. Its really sad that the ps3 won't have a good jrpg out at the one year mark. This really was the ps2's strong point.

Overall = C I think things will turn around in late fall. But right now I'm using it to play ps2 games and blu-ray movies.

I too give the hardware a A+ its almost worth 600 just staring at it wondering what it will be able to do in the future.

I give the software a F+. THe + is becaue at least they have some games out. But this grade may be some what tanited bc i too own a 360. So its not like ill be experancing oblivion for the first time on this counsle. RFOM is one game i always used to hear people hyping up but it is a generic shooter at best. MS looks good but not jaw dropping. As for the rest the ratings speak for the, selfs. If i never owned a 360 and wouldn't know gaming on that quality i probably would have give a C for software ratings.

Over all ill say D, Ill say a D because the main reason i bought the ps3 is for the games. all the bells and whilstels are more than welcom but with out good games it defets it purpose. To put things in perspective i would give the 360 a B-. If the PS3 had the games the 360 does now it would get a A-, It would get a A+ when we see graphics and gameplay that are mind blowing as the creators of PS3 claim well see someday

Yeah dont judge blu-ray with full metal jacket. It was just a crappy source. It got 2 out of 5 stars for video quality from Hidef digest.
