I had that yesterday lol ( 28th ) - i think it's because your nat setting is type 3 and type 3 = strict lol, it happened to me.

i knocked my net off & on numerous times and still no answer but then today, it worked fine? i'm not sure what it is but hopefuly you'll sort it, oh yeah if you use wireless; try plugging a network cable in to sort it. good luck

it happend to me many times and the reasons was :

1- the internet connection is slow maybe its a low speed internet or as you said there is alot of computers using the same connection wich slows the internet .

2- maybe you have been downloading a huge files from the PS3 or ane of the computers

what to do ?!?!!!

I know : you just tell every body to stop downloading every thing or just disconnect any device other than the PS3 from this internet .. and .. I just hope its works with you like with me

note : check your network settings \ settings and connection status list \ and make sure that your NAT type is at least NAT type 3 or more to know that there is a working internet in your PS3 .
