Playstation 3 slim?? is this true?

Hey guys I just was looking around internet and I found this

It is a PS3 slim, is that true? and if it does, is there going to be a difference like the PS2 and the PS2 slim, cuz remember that the normal PS2 cant read all the dvds but the PS2 slim does it. So can anyone tell me the truth?

Yes, and No.

The ps3 will slim down since as development gets better we are able to create smaller technology. Also this shot could very well be from sony, but isn't really relevant to any argument because even if it is officially sony it's unlikely it'll be out anytime soon.
