Just a quick question, but for those of you that have previously owned a PS and PS2 before getting your PS3, how many have kept their games and consoles so you now have a Playstation Collection of games spanning all three consoles? (or 4 if you want to include the PSP), and if so why?

I've kept my 2nd PS, and my PS2 along with the vast majority of games that I had, mainly for nostalgia reasons but also kind of loath to sell, give away, or bin any of the consoles as they are still working, in good condition, and I never know when I may just want to play Warriors on PS2 or GTA on the PS or, for that matter, any of the other games I kept.

I never owned a PS, as I had a N64, but I have a PS2 which is my favourite console. Have 30+ games for it and would never consider selling anything.

I have all my PS2 games from my PS2 days, and I've been purchasing some older PS1 titles as well. I still have a PS2 (and a 60gb console), so it makes sense to keep all those games.

Seriously, wow, I wish I had kept my Amiga and games, unfortunately the power pack for my Atari went down so was pointless keeping the console and games as I couldnt keep a replacement, and not sure if my Megadrive is still upstairs in the loft in a box, lol but yeah, bloody jealous mate as wish I'd have kept someof those older games and consoles/systems

Back in the day when I was a kid, the only way I could afford jumping into the new gen of consoles was by selling my previous gen console+games. Needless to say, I no longer have that problem and I plan on never selling any of my games. I had a pretty big ps2 collection and I plan on rebuying them here soon.

I was the same, lost everything before my PS, and the vast majority of my PS and PS2 games were traded in to buy newer or other second hand games, it'sonly the fact I've had 6 months work that's allowed me to build up my PS3 collection.

I keep everything. I just couldn't imagine how I'd feel if I sold something and then at some point down the road, I wanted to break that something out again only to realize my past self had sold it away. So, I still have my smaller PS One, my PS2 slim, and all the games I've ever bought for both.
