PLAYSTATION HAS FAILED ME YET AGAIN!!!!!! (caps)

Just sent in my Yellow Lighted 60 gb and was pleased to come home and find my refurbished one sitting pretty in the prepaid box. So I hook it up and I'm greeted startup screen so i feel as though it's all good but then it crashes at initial startup. So I'm thinking okay, this is all good just working out first time kinks. Then it happens again when i'm trying to set up my internet. So I try AGAIN and I get cod4 up and running and Ii'm playing for a few hours and turn it off to go out. I come back home hoping for some more Cod action when BAM!

I'm hit by the Denied sticker. Every startup I've tried for the past 10 minutes has ended with boot-up failness. Symptoms:

1. beautiful hymn sound
2. Sony Computer entertainment
3. FAIL
4. FREEZE
5. blue, pink (and occasionally green) pixelated boxes come outta nowhere and moar freeze
6. Cannot move controller, no PS button nothing
7. I have to hold power off button beeps a few, turns off in a couple of seconds
8. Lather, rinse, repeat

It isn't the connection i've swapped HDMIs, tried AVIs, switched the plugs around. it all works with my cable box and Wii. But ps3 not so much.

If anyone can help I would love you. Or else it's another week of waiting and team fortress 2

This sucks in two ways, which i will list to you now.

1. No more ps3

2. I "went out" to get Killzone 2 now i'm stuck with an opened box of killzone and nothing to play it on,

ok, just call for the warranty, you are not the first costumer ever to get a flawed product, I have my ps3 over year and a half, a ps2 and a psp and all of them work perfectly.

But also, mine has yet to die .. it has worked great since launch ..

sorry went to sleep right after I made the topic, yeah it's exactly like that. I hate it, it gives me false hopes of working, takes me to xmb and fails hard.

I'm not giving up on PS it's just I'm pretty pi**** (can we say that?) that i send in a faulty one and receive another faulty on in return.

For biscuit chucker, does this happen occasionally? Or eevertime do you have a fix for it?

Those blocks are almost always caused by the graphics card overheating, only thing you can do is keep it cool and well ventilated if that doesesn't work you sorry but it's toast.
