I'll hold off on buying one until (hopefully) a black one is released. PS3, Dual Shock, Move, Navi, Blu-ray remote, PS Headset, etc. - all of those are black, so why would the gun be red?

Eh...the Wii has already done this. It has s surplus of added plastic used to dress up the Wiimote. It was lame for them...and it's lame for Sony as well.
