Hey everyone!!

For a few days now i have been wrestling with the idea of buying the move. Im just having trouble deciding!! Is it worth it ?

Does MAG use it well and is there a big community playing ? At this point should i wait for killzone and will THAT be good with the move ?

What about heavy rain ? and rumors of infamous 2 and the last guardian using it...

Decisions decisions !

Any hardcore gamers with the move recommend it ?

Heavy Rain I believe added move controls but MAG does not use them. I enjoyed RE5 but have not played with the Move, I am sure it is like RE4 on the Wii which is solid. I really not sure what Mah is?

Sorry mate, but MAG does use the move.

And it aint bad.

I bought the MOVE on release and played a few of the move games and a couple of the real games with move capability and i would say they are average.

MAG was fun, but took a bit of getting used to. I didn't like RE5 with the move too much. The specially built move games were OK, but the novelty wore off quick. I got rid of mine just before christmas, it just didn't add enough to my gaming to make it worth keeping.

I'm not saying it's bad at all. It just wasn't for me.

I brought the move when it first came out, my kids played with it for a couple of days and now it just gathers dust, perhaps as more games are released it will be played with more but for now I'd say leave it.

I got the bundle with Sports Champions. That's a pretty solid game. Just as good as Wii Sports Resort in terms of quality - but maybe needed to have a few more sports. I do agree $99 is a bit pricey for what you get. I wish they at least threw in a navigation controller with the bundle. I have Gold Edition Resident Evil, but I'd need to go out and buy the navi controller to play it. I'm sure I will eventually, but I'm not in a hurry to spend even more on an accessory.

I currently have the Move Bundle (Move, Eye, Sports Champions) and have messed around with it. I'd be playing with it more right now if my TV wasn't currently dead (DLP, broken lamp :().

From what I've used of it, it's definitely the most accurate and precise motion control when it comes to tracking. The thing to remember is that this is a different way to control your games. The reason I say that is because there WILL be an initial learning curve. I played it some with MAG and liked it...but got owned more than if I was playing with the Dualshock. That's because I wasn't just trying to be good at the game. I was trying to remember the Move specific controls and button layout. Same case for when I played the Heavy Rain demo.

For mini-games and Move exclusive stuff like Sports Champtions, The Shoot, Time Crisis, and Tumble it's awesome. Easily calibrated and very accurate. It just takes more time to get adjusted to it for use in full scale game with a set of regular controls on the Dualshock.

That being said, I already can see myself trying it out on Killzone 3 and trying to get better with it on MAG. Also, if you want to play an FPS that's Move enabled and more than likely will have a good portion of its player base playing that way, check out Modern Combat: Domination on PSN.

My advice though? Try it out first. Either at a friend's place or at a kiosk in some place like Best Buy or a Sony store. I personally recommend a home trial if possible though. That'll give you more time to check it out.

personally, i think that a better investment would be buying a wii then kinect/move. not only do u get the gimmicky motion games...but wii has a great lineup of games u cant play on other consoles. so IMO, it isnt worth getting.

Instead of asking if there's going to be more titles in the future supporting it, why not just wait for said games to come out before buying it?

Both Heavy Rain and MAG use the Move. I have both and personally didn't like Move on MAG, but others have loved it. It is fantastic with Heavy Rain and I can't wait to play Killzone 3 with it. Sports Champions alone is a complete blast and worth the Move though.

It's okay - not really worth the $100 asking price, though. I paid $50 for mine, which is much more reasonable. Sports Champions is a decent pack-in with some fun games (bocce mostly), but man is the look of the game terrible. It's got that weird European designed sheen with hilariously bad stereotype characters. I'm looking forward to playing Heavy Rain with the Move, though, as that seems like it would add a lot to the experience. FPS stuff, less so...it's more of a novelty than anything as the analog stick doesn't exactly lack precision once you get used to it, and you get the advantage of a dead zone. With the Move your dead zone involves holding the wand directly at the screen.

I got move and i must say it took me by surprise. If you like the idea of it, then buy it, sony seems to be adding a decent amoiunt of effort and support for it so no worries on content. I have fun with it, yet i also have fun using a normal controller. Go for it

I would pass on the move. It's a good time at first but then you realize it is damn near unsupported, all the games for it are complete garbage. Save your money or buy good quality games, you'll thank yourself later.

just an fyi.. i've played kz3 with the move and it's VERY hard to to learn. it has a really steep learning curve. it's very hard to move around while aiming at the enemy; this is coming from someone who heavily plays metroid and RE4 on the wii. on the other hand, the dualshock controls are spot on. still has that "heavy feeling" with the aim, but it's very tight now - it wont feel like you're moving in a mud(kz2) while you navigate around the map shooting helghasts.

I figured it would be tough, but can you really compare metroid and RE4 on the wii to KZ3? The wii isn't nearly as accurate or responsive with the motion controls.

I got the Move at Christmas and was hoping that RE5 Gold would give me an idea of how FPS would play using move. Unfortunately I found RE5 with Move a bit awkward as you don't use the Move to look around; it only controls the aim once looking down the weapon. So you can't walk/run using the control pad in one hand whilst concurrently looking around for targets with the move in the other hand. So I was a bit disappointed.....Until I tried the Move out with MAG. Yes it took a while to get proficient with the Move as I'm used to FPS games with the DS3 (I've spent days if not weeks playing CODs 4, 5, 6 & 7 and BFBC2), but I've now used the Move from level 0 to 28 on MAG and it's awesome. The Move is starting to feel like using a mouse did when I used to regularly play FPS games on the PC. It took me a long time to get proficient using the DS3 controller in FPS games when I switched from PC with keyboard+mouse to PS3; and it takes a similar amount of time to switch from DS3 to Move. But ultimately it is worth it. The jury's out on whether Move gives a definitive advantage over DS3 in FPS games, but Move is definitely 100% more fun to use when it's applied properly (as in MAG). Roll on the release of Killzone 3!

I'd recommend RE5 Gold Edition since it's fun using the PS Move.
