A friend of mine is thinking about getting a Psp Go, but he does not live in the U.S. The PlayStation Network is available all over the world right? Also, what is the method of payment? Do you give your credit card number when you create an account?I appreciate any information.

Yea, PSN is available in most countries. You can get a full list from sony's website. Normally, you pay for things by using a credit or debit card, although the card does have to be registered for the country your account is set in (EU accounts need EU address, Japanese accounts need Japanese address etc). The main difference is the content. Japan without a doubt has the highest level of content on PSN, with USA coming second and EU lagging waaaaaay behind. I have an american and japanese PSN account and the amount of extra content on other regions is astounding. Only thing is, due to the restriction on payments I can't buy anything!

For example, japan already has FF1, 2, 7 and 8 up for download on PSN, as well as resi 2 and 3. We have none of those :(
