Just got a PS3 and everything runs great on it. The only problem I've had is using Playstation Network. All other internet programs work on PS3 fine except for the Network. Even when signing up for PSN the program would constantly fail to connect to the internet, or the connection would time out. Once I finally got through and made my account it worked fine, except I'd sign in and 5 minutes later it would kick me out. I'm using wireless. Perhaps this is a router problem and that and my modem need to be reset? Anyone else ever experience this problem? Any info is appreciated.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. At the minute ( well yesterday ) i had a lot of messages saying Playstaion Network has signed you out. My connection is fine so it may be a problem with there whole main frame. So dont worry and keep trying.

I checked out the link, followed the instructions and changed my router settings and all that fun stuff, and I'm still having the same problem! After signing into PSN it disconnects me within a few minutes, and every other internet based program on the Playstation works fine. I''m even typing this message through the Playstation browser! UGH. Any thoughts as to whats going on?

I had a problem at first until reading a few pages of post and found out that I had to also change my modem settings from a router setting to a bridged connection. If you can't find the IP address for your modem you may need to call there tech support.
