I am wondering is there will be a Playstation3 slimline? Maybe in a few years there might be one? But if they do release one, do you think there will be any new additions to it, or a smaller version but another model to take money out of our pockets? If they make one, i hope it has new featres, not the same but thiner like the Playstation3 version, what are your thoughts?
If they made a 60GB slimline would you get it? I only have a 40GB, i wasn't one ofthe first to get the Playstation3 so i was unlucky, but if they made a 60GB slimline i would probably get it.

Hmm no.I have a 40 gig and I am very happy with it.I am sick of paying money for different consoles.Besides it might be a long time before we see a slimline PS3.Right now I think sony are just improving the hardrives,not the actual console itself.Besides.I love the look of the ones right now.

Yeah, and things like that tend to get smaller and smaller as technology gets better. So I think there probably will be a slim version, but don't expect one until late into the console's life.
Given Sony's tradition of screwing something up in the "slimline" transition, I would not be looking forward to the "slim PSthree" anytime soon. Considering they already were willing to neuter BC out of the PS3 now, I'd hate to think what else they would cut from a "slim" model.
I don't think a slimline will come out till rumors or confirmed runmors of a next-gen system are in the works. Slimlines really only sell when people are looking for a cheaper gaming alternative to a new system.
They're basically for all the gamers who get into next gen really really late.
