Ok I saved and saved to buy this for my son, He loves it, All the sudden today he said something was wrong, SO the deal is if I take out the battery and only use the ac it works fine. When I put the battery back in, I plug in the charger it shows the orange charging light for a half minute then it shows nothing. And if I unplugg it from the charger it will not turn on at all. I mean it dont even blink a light.. But Sometimes if i unplugg the charger and plug it right back in and turn on the psp it will turn on show it has a full battery light will be green an all. Unless I unplug it then it goes blank again. I know I am knew here and I dont even know if I am in the right place to post this, But I am a single mom and I dont know anyone else to ask so all help will be very much appreciated.. Thank you

Sounds like the battery is defective. If you just bought the PSP, try taking it back for an exchange.

Around the Same thing happened with me... You can send it back to sony (There a lot faster then Microsoft... It should get back in less then a Week... Mine took 3 days) or you can go buy a new one for around 25 dollars (I think... It could be more...)

Ma'am, you should try to exchange the battery. Hopefully they'll do it with no problems.
