I am playing Little Big Planet and am stuck on the emitter tutorial. I am following the directions to the letter, and I absolutely can NOT emit the ghost. I am following the little video that plays in the background exactly. I stick an emitter, choose the "ghost" icon, then back out, and nothing happens. Please help me with this issue.

You place where the ghost will pop up and nothing happens. Did you read what the lady said?

i had trouble with that as well! um i then realised what i was doing wrong was iike not setting any of the values... its importand that you go through that and set everything.
