Valid points? Yea, PS3 is lagging behind on the online aspect. XBOX has been doing it well for years, before the 360, the PS3 has some catching up to do.

Remember though, the 360 is in a 1.9 billion dollar loss (i believe, link will come soon *edit* http://news.softpedia.com/news/Xbox-Sinks-into-a-1-26-Billion-Hole-30776.shtml 1.26, sorry, I exagerated a little...) due to its system malfunctions. Which is more than PS3.

I disagree I like PSN alot more then Live. First off I dont think online should cost money (I already pay an internet provider) and dedicated servers are a thousand times better then theLive servers, Resistance proved this in my mind and by the looks of things Warhawk will also.

LOL dood this is silly , sony doesn't update the store till Thursdays , so they wouldn't get a demo until then anyways.We could also say the same thing your saying about XBOX. Microsoft abandoned the 1st XBOX after only 3 years. MS hasn't made 1 Dollar off of anything branded XBOX , MS has the Largest failure rate in the history of gaming consoles , why are they in the game?????? MS fanbase gets all excited when they announce a 3 year warranty on a peice of hardware they already said WILL break, its just a matter of time?? why not fix the issue??i also think your forgetting who the number 1 console seller on earth is...Sony my friend , i think they have an ideal whats going on. MS is a software company , live , and download-able content are their specialty. But I will say this, The PS3 has been on the Market for around 8 months, during that time they have discontinued one version, begun the discontinuation of another version, shown that KZ2 can look as good as the original trailer, introduced a number of new ip's that look fantastic and are continuing to improve the XMB, the PS Store, and the overall quality of the games being introduced on the console.

The competitor has introduced 4 different consoles branded with the same name (360) and still continue to deal with the insanely high failure rate. What good is a console if it fails 33% of the time (that number is probably a large exaggeration). XBL is nice, but $50 is not my idea of nice. I dont want to pay $50 to enjoy a lot of the features a game has to offer.

Sony is not in the best position right now, and honestly noone will beat the appeal of the Wii, so giving the PS3 some time and a chance to catch up would be nice. Stop the walls of text and run on sentences and more people will read, not listen (as we cant hear you), to what you have to say.

The word user Friendly can span across a number of things when dealing with something like a console. I feel like the XMB on the PS3 is much nicer than the tab system on the 360. The PS Store is very easy to navigate through and offers everything you want on a side bar (i.e new released items). Sure in game chat is nice, an IM like feature is nice to have but I dont want someone texting me or sending me messages during a game. Honestly if I wanted to talk to someone while I am playing a game I would have invited them over or called them on the phone.

Perhaps its not a user friendly issue and more of a community issue. The community for XBL is much larger at this time. The demand for things like in game chat is much great and the fact that most 360 games offer online as its selling point are reasons that XBL has these features.

I for one could care less about sending messages or chating with someone while Im playing a game. I go outside, I go to ballgames, I go to bars, I go visit my friends if I want to talk to them. I dont want to talk to them while I playing the latest and greates games.
