Please PSP owners give me a hand

Hello to all i want to ask you all about wich PSP to get.

I know all the diferences between the slim and the normal but i was wondering about the slim.

I saw it the other day and it looks more cheaper. My question is ¿ is the PSP slim as durable as the normal ?? or the same ??

The slim is harder to mod, and that may possibly be the reason for it being cheaper as they could be trying to divert people to slims. The phat psp is a brick even when its not broken, and if your new to it your hands will hurt. The slim has a brighter screen but loses the IF capability so if you wanted to mod ure psp and use a homebrew such as the universal remote or the air hogz remote control, it wouldnt be possible. The psp is better overall, as its sexy and light.

damn dude.. is that freakin windows vista on a psp?? thats pretty sick but the real question is y waste ur time putting vista on a psp.. u should have gone with xp.killermonkey49

lol its a windows vista portal.. i also have a mac and a couple other portals on it.. plus tons of flash games

I own a original PSP but I recommend you a Slim because it has more features, it works faster and it's much brighter

...if u want to mod, get a classic psp

...also, for those that say, more features on slim..., I'll assume you mean the Tv-out, and some radio thing, well...I got the cables(for tv) and it's awfull!!

...seriously, however I do prefer the slimness and silverness of the slim...also I had to go slim, cause they were all ot of fattys everywhere!!

Worth getting Psp Vista? Pros/cons? And can i turn psp back to normal after installed vista??

Bottom line is this,

Slim has double the RAM the original does (64mb opposed to 32mb, much much faster loading times for games)

Slim has TV output now, so you can play PSP games on a TV/monitor so it then becomes more or less like a PS2.

Slim is much lighter and well, slimmer.

There really is no reason not to get a slim over the old one. Infact I don't think they sell the old ones anywhere any more. I've been having to return mine (twice so far) due to dead pixels and messed up analog. I returned one yesterday for my third PSP and this one has a FAT scratch on the screen (WTF?? must be factory screw up) so I gotta return it again. I'm really hoping to find a black slim but it's sold out everywhere so I've been returning and exchanging for the Daxter bundle lol. I'm kind of pissed though that I got 3 PSP's which are all screwed up. I got the worst luck with electronics. (Had to return an iPod twice as well due to alot of dead pixels on both) UGH!

that looks pretty cool does that mean u can web browse on ur psp and if so is there anyway to get messenger on it?

no real cons about i.. its free and you dont really even install it.. just put a couple files into a psp folder on your memory stick and you go to the brower and type in a code and vista starts up
